Before arriving

We require a $50 deposit/person. Only refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the jump or for bad weather. There is a $5/person non-refundable booking fee.

Before arriving eat a normal breakfast. Starving yourself because you are afraid to be nauseous won’t help. You will just be nauseous and hungry. If you are going to take anti-nausea medication make sure you follow the instructions. Dress appropriately for the day, Skydiving is an outdoor activity If it’s cold bundle up, if it’s hot shorts are acceptable. Athletic closed-toe shoes are required. Be aware that the temperature at altitude can be 20+degrees cooler than it is on the ground.

We are located at Canyonlands airport approximately 16 miles north of Moab. When you arrive call us at 435.259.5867 when you get to the gate. We are located at a federal airport and you must be escorted through the gate to the hangar.

Getting here

Arriving

When you get to the Dropzone you will be required to fill out a waiver and watch a video. The hangar is a family-friendly place so feel free to bring spectators. After paying the remaining balance of your jump and selecting video options you will be paired with an instructor and manifested onto a flight.

Training

Your instructor will come and introduce themselves. Then they will properly fit your skydiving harness and tell you about what to expect during the skydive. Be sure to pay attention to instructions and ask any questions you may have. This is the person you will be strapped to. Get to know them as they will get to know you.

So now we wait. You may not have any flights before you, you may have a few. This is the largest variation in time, as weather or other unexpected circumstances may arise. We try and schedule jumps to get you skydiving as soon as possible while still being respectful of everyone’s time. Most jumps are completed in under an hour but plan to be at the dropzone up to 4 hours total.

The waiting

THE JUMP

The jump its self is fairly fast. 15-20 minute flight to altitude, a minute of freefall, and 5-7 minutes under the parachute. Call it 30 minutes total from loading the plane to landing back on the ground. Spectators will be brought over to the landing area where they can watch.
One individual may ride in the co-pilot’s seat on each flight. They must be at least 18 years of age, wear a parachute, buy the $50 ticket and not jump out.

Post Skydive

Don’t worry about waiting for photos and videos, everything will be delivered via email a few hours after the jump. After receiving your certificates, you are free to go!
